Paula Newton

Mrs. Newton has been the librarian since 2014. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to help patrons with any issues or needs they may have. She adds a helping attitude and a true community servant to the town of Lexington.

Cynthia Simo

Assistant Librarian - Grants & Volunteer Coordinator
Cynthia's Book Recommendations

Mrs. Simo has been working at the library as an assistant librarian or a volunteer since 2013. She is one of our primary grant writers in addition to her normal library responsibilities. With a background in education, Mrs. Simo helps the library focus on building our learning resources for members of the community.

Jason Crowson

Assistant Librarian - Social Media & Technical Support
Jason's Book Recommendations

Mr. Crowson has been volunteering and working at the library since 2016. He has a background in web development and graphic design as well as small scale agriculture. Mr. Crowson has a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University in Mass Communications (Media Studies) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in teaching high school English through Western Governors University.
